Mental performance coaching for athletes

The talent is already there.
Let's build the mind to match it.

Because the hardest part of the game isn't physical. It's the ten seconds after a mistake, the free throw with the gym on its feet, and the practice confidence that vanishes on Friday night.

Sound familiar

You've done everything to make them physically ready

The trainers. The travel teams. The early mornings and the extra reps. Your athlete has the skills. So why does this keep happening?

  • One turnover turns into three, and the rest of the game gets away from them.
  • They're the best player at practice and a different kid under the lights.
  • Their confidence rides the stat line. Good night, great kid. Bad night, no one can reach them.
  • They step to the line in a close game and their hands feel like someone else's.
  • They come off the floor still replaying the last play instead of reading the next one.

It isn't their body. It's the one thing almost nobody trains: the game between their ears.

What this is

Game Ready is mental performance training

Confidence. Focus. Composure. Bouncing back. Athletes talk about these like they're personality traits, things you either have or you don't. They aren't. They're skills, and they're built the same way a jump shot is built: taught, practiced, corrected, and repeated until they hold up under pressure.

Game Ready teaches those skills, gives your athlete a place to practice them every week, and puts a coach in the room when it's time to work through what actually happened in Friday's game.

The mental game is the last untrained edge most athletes have.

And it's the one that decides whether all the physical work shows up when it counts.

Not therapyThis is performance coaching, not clinical care.
Not a pep talkMotivation fades. Skills and standards don't.
Not a one-time talkOne assembly doesn't change how a kid competes.

How it works

One skill a week,

practiced where it counts

Not a course they'll abandon in week two. A rhythm that fits around a real season.

01
Learn

A short lesson on one mental skill. Ten minutes, not a lecture.

02
Apply

Take it straight to practice and Friday's game. Skills only stick where the pressure is real.

03
Coach

Live weekly call. We work through what actually happened and fix it together.

04
Repeat

Reps build the skill. Week over week, it stops being effort and starts being who they are.

Prepare. Perform. Progress.

The shift

What actually changes

Right now
  • One mistake follows them the rest of the game
  • Confidence rises and falls with the stat line
  • Great in practice, tight when it counts
  • Needs things to go well to play well
  • Replays the last play instead of reading the next one
After the work
  • Recognizes it, releases it, refocuses. Next play.
  • Confidence comes from preparation, not results
  • Plays present, whatever the moment is
  • Standards hold when the feelings don't
  • Controls what's controllable and lets the rest go

And here's the part parents tell me matters most: the skills that make an athlete steadier under pressure are the same ones that serve them long after the last game. Person before player.

The investment

$397/month

3-month minimum, then month to month

It starts with a three-month commitment, because that's how long it takes to build a process an athlete can trust under pressure. After that, month to month for as long as it's serving them. Most athletes stay through a full season.

Put that next to a month of private skills training or a season of travel ball, and against what it's for: the mental edge that decides recruiting, playing time, and whether all that physical work shows up under the lights.

A limited number of scholarship spots are available for athletes who'll do the work. Ask on your fit call.

Common questions

What ages is this for?

Serious athletes roughly high-school age and up, though fit matters more than age. We'll figure that out on the call.

Does it work for my sport?

The mental skills carry across every sport: confidence, focus, composure, resilience. The situations we work through get tailored to your athlete's game.

How much time does it take?

A weekly group call plus self-paced work. A few focused hours a week, built to fit around a real season.

Can we start mid-season?

Yes. Enrollment is rolling, so you start whenever you're ready and step right in. Nobody is ever behind.

What's the commitment?

Three months to start, then month to month. The minimum exists because mental skills take reps, not because I want to lock you in.

How is this different from Academy?

Game Ready Academy is the community and curriculum at $49 a month. Elite adds the personal assessment, weekly coaching on your athlete's actual film and situations, the parent call, and quarterly 1:1 check-ins. Academy teaches the skills. Elite coaches your specific athlete.

Will it actually work?

No one can promise a result that depends on your athlete's effort. What I promise is a proven system and real coaching. Show up and do the work, and you'll see the difference.
